Background

Willhelmina did not have tags when she was first observed nesting on May 30, 2009. But, with a straight carapace length of 89cm she is likely not a neonate. She nested again on June 12 and was given some expensive jewelry (her brand new satellite tag). While she has not been observed nesting again, her satellite track indicates she nested once more this season.

Please note: Willhelmina's tag transmits every other day. So, this turtle will only appear every other day in the emailed subscriber updates. Please be patient!
