Background
This adult female Kemp's ridley nested at Padre Island National Seashore on 11 May 2010. She had not been tagged previously and was from the wild stock.
This turtle was outfitted with a Sirtrack Kiwisat 101 satellite transmitter by the National Park Service at Padre Island National Seashore. She returned to nest at Padre Island National Seashore on 9 June 2010. A Biological Technician conducting a turtle patrol found her nesting and this second nest (clutch 108) contained 99 eggs.
