Background

This bird was captured on it's breeding grounds on Akimiski Island, Nunavet Territory, Canada in cooperation with Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. The bird was fitted with a satellite transmitter to determine migratory connectivity between it's breeding grounds, migration routes and wintering areas.
