Background
Brigitte is 95.7 cm curved carapace length and a new turtle (previously untagged)so we wait to find out where she travels for internesting habitats, postnesting migrations, and her home foraging grounds.
Brigitte the turtle was sponsored by Sara Jane Bush to commemorate her favorite Rotary exchange student who recently attained her marine biology degree in Australia. Brigitte the biologist assisted the local turtle patrols while visiting Florida in her teens and this Casey Key turtle was named as a graduation present so she and her co-workers in Australia could follow Brigitte the turtle by satellite.
