Background
This adult female leatherback (157.0cm CCL and 115.9cm CCW) was tagged while nesting at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge (SPNWR), St. Croix, USVI on May 18, 2007. The turtle, named Christine, was not recorded by WIMARCS to have nested again on SPNWR during the 2007 nesting season. Christine's tag ceased to transmit after 15 days, logging 828km in traveling distance. The first record of Christine nesting on SPNWR was documented on April 27, 2002.
