Background
This eagle is one chick of a nest of triplets hatched at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Virginia in 2010. He was fitted with a satellite transmitter on May 5, 2010 and fledged from his nest in late May. Stay tuned to follow his explorations of the Chesapeake Bay region with this tracking map. You can also visit our tracking blog for dialog and detailed Google Earth maps of its movements on CCB's webpage http://www.ccb-wm.org/eagletrak/index.htm.
