Background

Nellie was found at 9:00pm while filling in her nest. She had laid a clutch of 127 eggs which were transferred to our hatchery facility. She was in good condition and the fitting of the transmitter went very smoothly with minimal stress to the animal. She was released the following morning on the shores of the Congo river.
