Background

Honu was the last turtle at Pongara National Park to be fitted with a satellite tag during the 2008-09 nesting season. After nesting she headed south-west away from coastal waters of Africa in to the South Atlantic. Recently, it appears she is making her way in to the Indian Ocean...this is a first for any leatherback turtle tracked in the South Atlantic...where will she go next?
