click map for full-size version UPDATE 25.05.10: Suzie returned from her 6,000 kms migration at the end of January 2010 and is now back on her foraging grounds on the north coast of East Caicos. She seems to be resident in Black Rocks Bay, where her tag stopped transmitting on the 8th May.

Background

Suzie was purchased by the Turks and Caicos Islands Turtle Project from a South Caicos fisher after she was landed there for consumption on the afternoon of the 24.06.09. She was tagged that evening and released the next morning close to her point of capture.
